Which Output Does Your Router Need?

Check the label on your router's existing power adapter - it will print the output voltage, usually 9V or 12V, along with the current in amps. Set the switch on the UPS to match that voltage before connecting. If your adapter says 12V, use 12V. If it says 9V, use 9V. Getting this wrong is the single most common mistake with a mini UPS, and it is the reason some people think the unit is faulty when it simply is not set correctly.
